Economics and the End of Conflict?

Abstract

Considering the economics of war and peace, the rising cost of weapons and the cost of conflict, and taking into account that conflicts are also determined by non-economic factors, it is concluded that economics can help reduce the cost of conflict but will not bring about its end.
