Construire une grille de lecture discursive pour l’éthique des vertus aristotélicienne dans le management : difficultés et pistes de réflexion à partir du cas de la FDJ

Abstract

L'éthique des vertus se développe dans les réflexions sur le management en profitant des failles conceptuelles et opérationnelles du déontologisme et du conséquentialisme qui ne sont plus à prouver (Deslandes, 2010, p. 103). L'éthique des vertus elle semble apporter à la fois un humanisme dont peut manquer le conséquentialisme et un réalisme dont peut manquer le déontologisme. On la suppose plus pertinente dans son application au management (Solomon, 1992 : 323). Cependant, les assises expérimentales de cette pertinence restent à démontrer. L'objectif de cette communication est donc de s'interroger sur la possibilité de construire une grille de lecture discursive pour appréhender les discours relevant de l'éthique des vertus chez les managers. C'est l'objet de l'enquête de terrain que nous avons menée à la FDJ sur l'éthique des vertus. La question que nous nous posons pourrait-être formulée ainsi : quel critère discursif pourrait permettre de catégoriser un verbatim comme relevant d'une justification mobilisant une conception issue de l'éthique des vertus aristotélicienne ? C'est ce que nous appelons « grille de lecture discursive » : un faisceau de critères capables de discriminer des discours.
