Abstract

L'objectif de ce texte est de présenter la portée et limites de la (re)construction de la théorie marxienne des classes sociales entreprise par plusieurs auteurs issus du courant du marxisme analytique. Ces travaux se fondent sur une utilisation d'outils méthodologiques non marxistes en vue d'articuler les énoncés marxistes (notamment stratification sociale, individualisme méthodologique). Nous présentons et discutons les travaux d'Erik O. Wright principalement, mais également de John Roemer et de G.A. Cohen afin de dégager une position marxiste analytique sur les classes sociales, et nous les confrontons avec une lecture que nous jugeons plus en phase avec la lecture de Marx.
