Abstract

Le dark tourism, c'est-à-dire la forme de tourisme liée aux endroits associés à la mort, connaît actuellement un engouement certain. En raison de ce succès, les sites de dark tourism permettent de créer de la valeur économique tant pour les entrepreneurs que pour les pouvoirs publics. Toutefois, la création et l'exploitation d'une activité économique liée au dark tourism n'est pas sans soulever un certain nombre de questions. L'objectif de cet article est de s'interroger tant sur les sources possibles de création de valeur économique que sur les spécificités, voire les limites à ne pas dépasser, dans cette quête. Ainsi, des recommandations managériales quant à l'exploitation de ces sites peuvent être faites.
