Comprendre la dynamique de la socialisation organisationnelle : une approche par le sensemaking

Abstract

Nous proposons ici un essai théorique, qui analyse le concept de socialisation organisationnelle sous l'angle du sensemaking. Nous montrons que les deux processus sous-jacents de la socialisation - apprentissage et intériorisation - peuvent être considérés comme des processus de sensemaking. En d'autres termes, nous présentons la socialisation organisationnelle comme l'un des processus de sensemaking à l'œuvre dans les organisations. Nous présentons alors les implications de cette proposition : a) la socialisation est un processus continu mais non linéaire ni cumulatif ; b) les critiques sur l'optique fonctionnaliste de la socialisation sont dépassées ; c) l'horizon temporel pertinent de la socialisation est considérablement élargi.
