Abstract

Cette recherche étudie l'influence du type de conflit sur les modalités de résolution utilisées par les membres d'un réseau d'innovation. L'analyse qualitative de six réseaux d'innovation met en évidence deux principaux résultats : (1) les conflits affectifs liés à la coopération entrainent des modalités plutôt radicales comme l'exclusion, alors que (2) les conflits cognitifs liés aux aspects techniques du projet sont plutôt résolus grâce à des discussions. Nos données révèlent également l'importance de la dépendance du pivot dans la manière de résoudre le conflit. This research investigates the influence of the type of conflict on resolution mechanisms used by innovation network members. Qualitative analysis of six innovation networks highlights two main results: (1) affective conflicts related to cooperation imply rather radical modalities as the exclusion, while (2) cognitive conflicts related to project' technical aspects are rather resolved through discussion. Our data also show that the dependence of the hub firm influences the way of resolving conflicts.
