Abstract

Cet ouvrage collectif, édité par l'International Association of University Professors and Lecturers (IAUPL) sous le haut patronage de la Commission nationale française pour l'UNESCO, est conçu à partir des contributions des participants lors d'un Colloque de l'IAUPL organisé à l'Université Cadi Ayyad de Marrakech. Cette publication est l'occasion d'assimiler les acquis cumulés dans le secteur de l'enseignement supérieur du point de vue des membres de sections internationales de l'IAUPL, notamment des sections européennes et africaines. La première vocation de l'ouvrage consiste à diffuser une connaissance actualisée sur la compréhension du fonctionnement organisationnel et opérationnel des Universités, à donner des regards dynamiques et critiques sur la gouvernance de celles-ci, permettant d'éclairer les choix à faire pour l'avenir. L'enseignement supérieur doit envisager son avenir dans un contexte de profonds bouleversements comme la réduction des financements, un environnement de plus en plus concurrentiel ou encore la diversification de la demande en formation supérieure. Une autre vocation de l'ouvrage consiste à diffuser une connaissance actualisée sur la compréhension du fonctionnement des Universités et à donner des regards critiques sur l'évolution des conditions d'exercice des métiers universitaires.
