Abstract

PANTA RHEI REGIO steht für einen modellgestützten Dialog zur Siedlungs- und Verkehrsflächenentwicklung und Folgenabschätzung fiskalischer Maßnahmen auf nationaler und regionaler Ebene. Im Rahmen der Förderinitiative REFINA, "Forschung für die Reduzierung der Flächeninanspruchnahme und ein nachhaltiges Flächenmanagement", wird das Projekt PANTA RHEI REGIO der GWS mbH vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert. Das wesentliche Ziel der Projektarbeit bis Anfang 2009 ist die Regionalisierung des gesamtdeutschen Modells PANTA RHEI, mit dessen Hilfe bereits unterschiedliche umweltpolitische Fragestellungen unter Berücksichtigung des langfristigen Strukturwandels und umweltökonomischen Interdependenzen bearbeitet wurden.
