Régimen de tenencia de la vivienda habitual y desigualdad de la renta de los hogares españoles

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza, para el periodo 2008-2018, el impacto que tiene en la desigualdad de la renta de los hogares españoles la forma de acceso a la vivienda habitual (en propiedad o en alquiler). Para ello se adoptan dos enfoques metodológicos complementarios: uno, basado en la imputación a los hogares propietarios de la renta correspondiente al autoconsumo de los servicios de residencia; y otro, basado en la minoración de la renta de los hogares en la cuantía que estos destinan a cubrir los gastos anuales de acceso a la residencia habitual, ya sea mediante el pago de alquileres o por las anualidades asociadas con la financiación aplazada de la adquisición
