Agricultura campesina y el mercado de alimentos: el caso de Haití

Abstract

Presenta un estudio retrospectivo de la agricultura campesina de Haiti, incorporando algunos elementos prospectivos referentes al campesinado y al mercado de alimentos que este abastece. Analiza al campesino como productor de alimentos, las practicas vigentes en la agricultura, los cambios producidos en la oferta y demanda de productos alimenticios y sus consecuencias para el campesino haitiano y para el consumidor urbano de bajos ingresos.
