Abstract

Ofrece una síntesis crítica de distintos enfoques teóricos sobre los campesinos: enfoques antropológicos, enfoques modernizantes o neoclásicos, el concepto marxista clásico, la teoría de la economía campesina de Chayanov, y algunos aspectos del debate contemporáneo en América Latina. Presenta algunas observaciones con el fin de proporcionar elementos que permitan orientar futuros trabajos sobre la agricultura campesina.
