Abstract

Este estudio realiza un análisis exhaustivo y detallado de la historia de la política vivienda en Colombia. El énfasis sobre las políticas alternativas de mejoramiento; reacondicionamiento de viviendas e intervenciones integrales de vecindarios, es un paradigma en el país. Este documento tiene como objetivo ser una guía técnica para el desarrollo de una política de vivienda más balanceada en Colombia y otros países de América Latina durante los próximos anos. Mientras Colombia enfrenta las devastadoras consecuencias sociales y económicas de la pandemia del COVID-19, una política de vivienda exitosa es un factor crucial en la fase de recuperación y el largo plazo.
