Abstract

"Una ventana de oportunidad para la educación en Colombia" aborda tres ejes fundamentales: el análisis del gasto educativo, la educación básica y media, y la educación superior, concluyendo con recomendaciones estratégicas. Primero, examina el gasto en educación de Colombia frente a estándares globales, destacando áreas de mejora y potencial. En la educación básica y media, se ofrece un diagnóstico detallado, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, seguido de un ejercicio de priorización que culmina en diez recomendaciones esenciales enfocadas en elevar la calidad y extensión de la educación. Finalmente, la sección sobre educación superior analiza el estado actual, identifica problemas clave y evalúa el impacto de la legislación reciente. A lo largo, se sugieren medidas para incrementar la eficacia del gasto público en educación, capitalizando oportunidades derivadas de cambios demográficos y ajustes fiscales para fortalecer la calidad educativa en Colombia.
