Elasticidades ingreso y precios de las exportaciones no tradicionales en Colombia 1991-2015

Abstract

Este documento presenta una estimación de las elasticidades precio e ingreso de la demanda de las exportaciones no tradicionales de Colombia, dirigidas hacia todo el mundo y hacia tres destinos específicos: Estados Unidos, Unión Europea y América Latina. Estas elasticidades se calculan utilizando técnicas de cointegración, para el periodo de 1991-2015. La estimación se realiza para el agregado de exportaciones no tradicionales y para los subgrupos de exportaciones industriales y agrícolas. En general, se encuentra que la demanda de exportaciones no tradicionales colombianas es, mucho más elástica a los ingresos que a los precios.
