Der Milchpreis In Der Deutschen Presse: Nur „Milchkrisen“ In Der Berichterstattung?

Abstract

Kein anderes Lebensmittel ist in Tages- und Wochenzeitungen so präsent wie Milch. Nach dem Ende der Milchquote im Jahr 2015 scheint sich die Berichterstattung jedoch verändert zu haben: Sie wird immer wieder als einseitig krisenorientiert kritisiert. Ob und wie sich die Berichterstattung verändert hat, wird im nachfolgenden Beitrag mit Hilfe einer Inhaltsanalyse sowie einer darauf aufbauenden Regressionsanalyse untersucht. Das zentrale Ergebnis ist, dass über Milchpreise insbesondere in Zeiten niedriger und stark fallender Preise berichtet wird. Ein weiteres Ergebnis ist, dass sich das Quotenende positiv auf die Anzahl der veröffentlichten Artikel auswirkt. Eine verstärkt einseitige Berichterstattung, beispielsweise zunehmend negative Kritik an den Milcherzeugern, kann jedoch nicht festgestellt werden.
