Production Functions Of Western Irrigated Crops

Abstract

For two functional forms, this paper reports econometric estimates of product1on functions for thirteen major irrigated crops using a common dataset and a consistent specification of the variables across crops. Estimates of the output elasticity of irrigation water are uniformly highly inelastic for each crop.
