Verständnisse und Bedeutungen des Wissenstransfers für Forschung und Bildung im Kontext einer Großen Transformation

Abstract

Wissenstransfer zwischen Hochschulen und Gesellschaft sowie gesellschaftliches Engagement von Hochschulen ("Third Mission") rücken immer stärker in den Fokus von Öffentlichkeit und Wissenschaftspolitik (Kap. 2). Auch für die Große Transformation zur Nachhaltigkeit werden die zentrale Rolle von Hochschulen für die Unterstützung gesellschaftlicher Such- und Lernprozesse sowie daneben auch Veränderungsbedarfe bzw. Mindsets hin zu nachhaltig(er)en Entwicklungen betont (Kap. 3). Noch sind die beiden Diskussionsstränge aber weitgehend unverbunden. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden Grundzüge aus beiden Wissensbereichen skizziert. Diese zeigen, dass das Grundverständnis gleich ist: Gemeinsam ist ein Verständnis von Wissenstransfer, das durch vielfältige wechselseitige/rekursive Austauschprozesse zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft geprägt ist und durch das neues Wissen, das sowohl an die Wissenschaft als auch die Praxis anschlussfähig ist, idealerweise gemeinsam erzeugt wird (Ko-Produktion). Doch gibt es "blinde Flecken", die durch den Fokus auf den Bereich der transformativen Bildung, der in der Transformationsdebatte bisher noch randständig behandelt wird, aufgehellt werden. Anhand philosophischer und didaktischer Reflexionen (Kap. 4) wird gezeigt, dass tiefer liegende kulturelle und individuelle Werte sowie ganzheitliche, d. h. an der Einheit von Mensch, Natur und Kultur orientierte Weltbilder geeignet erscheinen, Schlüsselorientierungen für radikale Transformationen zur Nachhaltigkeit zu geben. Im Sinne eines transdisziplinären Wissenschaftsverständnisses stellt daher die Vermittlung bzw. wissenschaftlich fundierte Auseinandersetzung mit normativem Ziel-/Orientierungswissen - verbunden mit einer Reflexion von Werten und Mindsets im Rahmen einer holistischen Umwelt- bzw. Werte-Bildung - nach Auffassung der Autorinnen ein zentrales Scharnier für den Wissenstransfer bzw. den "Weg vom Wissen zum Handeln" dar, dem bisher noch zu wenig Augenmerk geschenkt wird und auf das sich weitere Forschung und Entwicklung richten sollte.
