Abstract

Sweden | Dr. Cecilia Cassinger is Associate Professor at the Department of Strategic Communication, Lund University, Sweden. She currently conducts research on city branding connected to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 on urban sustainability. The research concerns the communicative aspects of place branding, particularly in relation to achieving socially sustainable urban environments in the Nordic context. Cecilia is the co-editor of The Nordic Wave in Place Branding: Poetics, Practices, Politics (2019).
