Abstract

Strategic human resource management (SHRM) is a crucial foundation for the survival and development of a firm, linking human resource management (HRM) with a firm's strategic objectives to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. Research and practice have proven that implementing SHRM is conducive to acquiring core competencies that enhance the firm's competitiveness. In response to the changes that are taking place in HRM practices, it is essential that students and managers to learn SHRM systematically.
