Abstract

¿Qué tienen que ver la teoría general de sistemas, la complejidad, la ecología y las teorías de desarrollo con la planificación, gestión y sustentabilidad del turismo? ¿Qué tienen que ver la planificación y la gobernanza con la gestión del turismo desde lo local? ¿cómo se puede planificar el turismo mediante el paisaje soñado? ¿cómo construir turismo con las comunidades? Esta investigación busca responder a estos y otros interrogantes, presenta, en primer lugar, un contexto teórico y conceptual sobre el turismo, su planificación, modelos de desarrollo y gobernanza. Así mismo, se abordan el concepto de sistemas complejos y su relación con la gestión del turismo, para cerrar con el camino hacia la sustentabilidad.
