Políticas públicas para la igualdad de género: un aporte a la autonomía de las mujeres

Abstract

Avanzar hacia la igualdad de género y el cumplimiento del rol que le compete al Estado en esta tarea es el propósito en que se funda la propuesta de matriz para la recopilación de políticas públicas para la igualdad de género elaborada por el Observatorio de Igualdad de Género de América Latina y el Caribe. En el presente documento se expone, por una parte, el enfoque analítico desde el que se elaboró la matriz y, por otra parte, las políticas analizadas de siete países de la región: las políticas para enfrentar la violencia contra las mujeres del Brasil y del Uruguay, la política de garantía de acceso a la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo de Colombia, las políticas de paridad y alternancia de género del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia y de Costa Rica, la reforma tributaria de Chile y el gasto etiquetado para las mujeres de México.
