Baukosten und Bauhandwerk im internationalen Vergleich

Abstract

Der Bericht vergleicht die Baukosten und die Qualität des Bauhandwerks in verschiedenen OECD-Ländern. Danach sind die Baukosten in Deutschland überdurchschnittlich hoch. Dieses ist vor allem auf die strikte Gewerketrennung und unzureichende Koordination zurückzuführen. Es wird gefordert, dass der Marktzutritt für Handwerksbetriebe erleichtert werden soll und dass eine bessere Koordinierung der Tätigkeiten auf dem Bau stattfinden sollte. Die sehr gute handwerkliche Berufsausbildung in Deutschland sollte beibehalten werden.
