Baukosten und Bauhandwerk im internationalen Vergleich

Abstract

Die deutschen Baukosten und Baupreise sind nach Einschätzung vieler Experten im internationalen Vergleich sehr hoch. Auf der Basis der von EUROSTAT/OECD erhobenen Daten kommt eine Studie für das Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau- und Wohnungswesen zu dem Ergebnis, dass das Preisniveau im Wohnungsbau von der Mitte der achtziger Jahre bis etwa zur Mitte der neunziger Jahre in Mitteleuropa nicht so stark von Land zu Land differierte. Lediglich in Frankreich wurden Wohngebäude im Durchschnitt rund ein Viertel, in Großbritannien sogar um ca. 30% günstiger als in Deutschland erstellt.
