Unternehmerische Quartiersentwicklung - Gründe für und gegen wohnungswirtschaftliches Engagement

Abstract

Das Quartier ist sowohl in der Planungspraxis als auch in der wissenschaftlichen Forschung ein zentraler Diskussionsgegenstand: Es dient häufig als Planungs- und Interventionsebene, um städtische Entwicklungen zu steuern. In Zeiten zunehmender Neoliberalisierung von Stadtentwicklung kommt nichtstaatlichen Akteuren zukünftig eine noch zentralere Rolle bei der lokalen Entwicklungsplanung und -steuerung zu. Das gilt insbesondere für Wohnungseigentümer. Hierdurch ergeben sich auch Konsequenzen für das Gemeinwohl, das privatwirtschaftlich handelnde Akteure zukünftig stärker beeinflussen können.
