Analyse von Revisionen der vierteljährlichen Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnung in Österreich

Abstract

In den Revisionen der vierteljährlichen VGR des WIFO ist keine systematische Über- oder Unterschätzung festzustellen, sie sind also "unverzerrt". Während die Schätzungen für das BIP im Aggregat meist relativ wenig revidiert werden müssen, unterliegen die Komponenten, vor allem die Außenhandelsdaten, großen Revisionen. Insgesamt wurden die Revisionen über die Zeit geringer. Darüber hinaus erweist sich die vierteljährliche Schnellschätzung des WIFO als zuverlässige Vorausschätzung der regulären Quartalsrechnung. Generell unterliegen saison- und kalenderbereinigte Daten größeren Unsicherheiten als die unbereinigten Daten.
