Die Kohäsions- und Agrarpolitik im neuen Finanzrahmen der EU

Abstract

Europäischer Rat, Europäisches Parlament und Kommission einigten sich im Mai 2006 in einer interinstitutionellen Vereinbarung auf einen neuen Finanzrahmen. Damit wurden die Ausgaben der dann auf 27 Mitglieder erweiterten Union für die Jahre 2007 bis 2013 festgelegt. Für Kohäsionspolitik und Agrarpolitik sind die größten Budgets vorgesehen. Trotz einer starken Zunahme des Anteils des Agrarsektors an den Erwerbstätigen sinkt der Agraranteil am Haushalt der EU. Die Mittel der Kohäsionspolitik werden dagegen sowohl absolut als auch in Relation zum Gesamtbudget ausgedehnt, um die Erreichung der Kohäsionsziele zu beschleunigen.
