Zur Frage der Lohnführerschaft in Österreich

Abstract

In wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten sowie in Medienberichten wird gelegentlich die These vertreten, dass die Lohnverhandlungen in Österreich dem System der Lohnführerschaft folgen: Eine Branche – der Lohnführer – lege den für eine Lohnrunde geltenden Erhöhungssatz fest; dieser werde dann von anderen Branchen übernommen. Die Beobachtung einer großen und langfristig zunehmenden Lohnspreizung in Österreich ist mit dieser These jedoch unvereinbar.
