Editorial. Wirtschaftspolitische Überlegungen zum Stabilitäts- und Wachstumspakt

Abstract

Der "Stabilitäts- und Wachstumspakt" hat möglicherweise weitreichende Folgen für die Wirtschaftspolitik der Teilnehmer an der Wirtschafts- und Währungsunion. Das Editorial kommentiert seine Begründung ebenso wie mögliche Implikationen. Die im Stabilitätspakt vereinbarte Verhängung von Sanktionen gegen übermäßige Budgetdefizite ist Gegenstand einer empirischen Analyse im selben Heft.
