The effect of peer group, economic literacy, and use of social media on the consumption behavior of students social studies major grade XII SMAN 1 Negara in Jembrana

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan variabel penelitian yang meliputi pengaruh peer group, literasi ekonomi, dan penggunaan media sosial terhadap perilaku konsumtif siswa kelas XII IPS SMAN 1 Negara Jembrana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Negara dengan jumlah populasi 98 siswa dan jumlah sampel 78 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil data regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa kelompok sebaya memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dari 0,032 pada perilaku konsumtif siswa dan itu dibuktikan byt hitung 2.190> t tabl eKeaksaraan 1,99254.Economic memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dari 0,035 pada perilaku konsumtif siswa dan dibuktikan dengan t hitung 2.142> t tab le 1,99254. Kemudian penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan sebesar 0,000 terhadap perilaku konsumtif siswa t hitung 3,725 > 1,99254. Kelompok sebaya, literasi ekonomi, dan penggunaan media sosial secara bersamaan mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa jurusan Ilmu Sosial kelas XII SMAN 1 Negara di Jembrana yang dibuktikan Byf hitung 26.759> F tab le 2,73. Variabel peer group, literasi ekonomi, dan penggunaan media sosial terhadap perilaku konsumtif berpengaruh sebesar 50,1% sedangkan 49,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
