Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Quantifizierung der individuellen Risikoeinstellung und der dabei zu beobachtenden Inkonsistenzrate kann mit verschiedenen Messmethoden zu signifikant unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen führen. Anders als bei der Risikoeinstellung gibt es bislang keine Beiträge, die die Inkonsistenzraten verschiedener Methoden intrapersonell vergleichen. In diesem Beitrag werden daher neben der Risikoeinstellung auch die Inkonsistenzraten deutscher Studierender mit Hilfe der lotteriebasierten Methoden von Holt/Laury (2002) und Brick/Visser/Burns (2012) in Text- und Bildform verglichen. Dabei finden wir sowohl bei der ermittelten Risikoeinstellung als auch bei der beobachteten Inkonsistenzrate signifikante Unterschiede zwischen den unterschiedlich komplexen Methoden und Darstellungsformen.
