Critical Rationalism and Planning Methodology

Abstract

This paper studies the implications of critical rationalism for planning and planning methodology. Centreing on planning as decision-making, a Popperian approach to decision-making in planning is formulated, with a view to throwing light on an old planning problem: the meaning of rationality.
