Uma análise dos custos da mobilidade urbana no Brasil: perdas do Pib com deslocamentos

Abstract

O presente artigo pretende estimar o percentual do PIB perdido em deslocamentos para cada uma das nove regiões metropolitanas brasileiras presentes na PNAD (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Belém, Salvador, Recife e Fortaleza), além do município de Brasília. Através da análise de matrizes de correlação, busca-se conectar o porcentual do PIB perdido em deslocamentos com o IFDM (Índice Firjan de Desenvolvimento Municipal) e seus diferentes fatores, mostrando assim a ligação entre mobilidade urbana e bem-estar social, através de suas diferentes dimensões. A partir de uma modelagem econométrica, estimou-se por MQO a relação entre o percentual do PIB perdido em deslocamentos sobre as diferentes dimensões do IFDM, considerando impactos diferenciados ao longo do tempo. Os resultados indicam alta correlação entre a mobilidade urbana e o bem-estar social quatro anos após o índice de mobilidade encontrado, especialmente na área de saúde. Por fim, observaremos possibilidades de financiamento para os gargalos de infraestrutura existentes no país.
