Abstract

L'analyse scientifique des organisations et des comportements stratégiques a connu un développement important au cours des quinze ou vingt dernières années. En toile de fond se retrouvent le développement remarquable des communications et l'accélération des innovations technologiques. Ces phénomènes ont entraîné des modifications importantes dans l'environnement concurrentiel des entreprises et exigent en particulier qu'elles puissent réagir plus rapidement aux besoins spécifiques des divers regroupements de clientèle. Ces phénomènes ont également renforcé très significativement les complémentarités entre les différents éléments de la stratégie d'entreprise et ont à la fois exigé, permis et suscité l'émergence de nouvelles formes d'organisation et de structures décisionnelles. Ces phénomènes, de concert avec l'évolution anticipée du contexte socio-économique international et l'ouverture généralisée et la mondialisation des marchés, auront des répercussions importantes pour toutes les organisations, tant les entreprises que les organisations publiques et parapubliques.
