Determinantes de la innovación en productos o procesos: el caso colombiano

Abstract

Este artículo analiza empíricamente los determinantes de las decisiones sobre innovación de las firmas manufactureras colombianas. En particular, estudia la posibilidad de que exista algún grado de dependencia entre la innovación en productos y en procesos. Estima un modelo probit bivariado utilizando datos de la segunda Encuesta de Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica. Los resultados indican que existe una fuerte complementariedad entre la innovación en productos y procesos.
