Abstract

[fre] Ce texte propose de revenir sur un thème récurrent de l'épistémologie des sciences sociales. Repartant des analyses développées par K. R. Popper, il étudie les difficultés posées à l'économie par l'existence de prévisions ou de théories autoréalisatrices, et plus généralement par l'effet que les prévisions ou les théo­ries peuvent exercer sur les événements mêmes qu'elles sont censées prédire ou décrire. [eng] This article deals with an important question of epistemological analysis of social sciences. Based on the analysis developped by K.R. Popper, it studies the difficulties that self-fulfilling theories and predictions - and more generally effects that predictions or theories can have on anticipated events - represents for economics.
