Abstract

[fre] Domestic and international effects of central bank independance. . We analyze the motivations and effets, inside the countries and on the international economic relationships, of central bank independance, i.e. of the separation of policy responsabilities between monetary and fiscal authorities. We summarize the various arguments developed in the literature, and we illustrate them using simple theoretical models. [eng] Domestic and international effects of central bank independance. We summarize the various arguments developed in the literature, and we illustrate them using simple theoretical models.
