Abstract

[eng] Sismondi and macro-disequilibrium theory . . Sismondi brought about a true revolution in economic theory by Morishima's standard. A first section deals with Sismondi's interpretation of ricardian equilibrium theory ; Ricardo intends to prove rate of profit maximising capitalisas always verify Say's theorem and so are able to maintain the System in natural state. In a second section it is proved that Sismondi ruins the logical consistency of ricardian model ; in sismondian model the system is always in a state of macro-disequilibrium, which invalidates Say's theorem. The proof is deduced from the introduction of a one period lag between income distribution and consumption and over ail, front the exclusion of ricardian axiom of perfect information. The implications of the revolution are given in a third section. Sismondi presents the first theoretical treatment of information ; the problem was rediscovered by Keynes in the course of his revolution against neo-classical economies.
