Das Projekt LohnSpiegel: Tatsächlich gezahlte Löhne und Gehälter

Abstract

Seit 2004 stellt das WSI einen "LohnSpiegel" zur Verfügung, der Daten über Einkommen und Arbeitsbedingungen der Arbeitnehmer erhebt. Im Kern basiert der LohnSpiegel auf einer laufenden, selbstadministrierten Online-Befragung. Die erhobenen Daten sollen die Transparenz auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verbessern. Zugleich dienen sie der wissenschaftlichen Analyse und Forschung über Löhne und lohnrelevante Themen. Das Projekt "LohnSpiegel" ist Bestandteil des internationalen WageIndicator-Netzwerkes. Es koordiniert ähnliche Online-Projekte in einer großen Zahl von Ländern und eröffnet so die Möglichkeit von international vergleichenden Untersuchungen. Der Beitrag diskutiert methodische und methodologische Fragen der Online-Erhebung und gibt einen Überblick über die vorliegenden Ergebnisse zu Berufsgruppenanalysen, geschlechtsspezifischen Einkommensunterschieden und Tarifbindung.
