Az infláció és néhány közgazdasági kategória kapcsolata
[The relationship between inflation and some macroeconomic categories]

Abstract

A tanulmány adottnak veszi az inflációt, és azt vizsgálja, hogy ennek milyen hatása van a gazdaságra és az egyes fontosabb közgazdasági kategóriákra. A cikk első része az inflációnak az államháztartás egyensúlyára gyakorolt hatását vizsgálja. A szerző kifejti: az inflációs adó realizálódásának folyamata egyszerűen és ellentmondások nélkül vizsgálható, ha ezt a monetáris bázis létrejöttének három különböző módjával összekapcsoltan tesszük meg. Ennek megfelelően új fogalomhasználatot vezet be a monetáris és a fiskális seigniorage fogalmai helyett. Nagy figyelmet szentel az államháztartás kamatterhei és az infláció kapcsolatának. Egyebek között azt hangsúlyozza, hogy a kamatterhek között a jegybankon kívüli belső államadósság az, amelynek kamatterhei, az inflációs ráta változásaitól függően, érzékenyen befolyásolják az államháztartás egyenlegét. A cikk második része azt mutatja be, miképpen torzítja az infláció az alapvető makrogazdasági összefüggésekről a statisztika felhasználásával nyerhető képet, s emiatt a gazdaságpolitikának mire kell ügyelnie. Végül a cikk rámutat, hogy az infláció a profitra és a profitrátára csökkentő hatást gyakorol, emiatt rontja a gazdasági növekedés kilátásait.
