Technológia a stratégiaalkotásban, avagy a Harvard-iskola újjáéledése

Abstract

A tanulmány arra a kérdésre keresi a választ, hogy vajon a technológiai fejlődés eredményeinek alkalmazása képessé teszi-e a vállalatokat és intézményeket az eddigieknél megbízhatóbb stratégia kidolgozására és megvalósítására. Hipotézisünk az, hogy a 21. században kifejlődött vagy továbbfejlesztett digitális technológiák (például a valós idejű elemeket tartalmazó adatbázisok és elemzési módszerek) olyan eszközrendszert adnak a szervezetek vezetőinek kezébe, amelyek lehetőséget teremtenek a stratégiai döntések eddigieknél gyorsabb és megalapozottabb meghozatalára. Tanulmányunk azt kívánja bizonyítani, hogy az egyébként a stratégiai menedzsment fejlődéstörténetében meghatározó szerepet játszó Harvard-iskola a korszerű technológiák tervezési folyamatba való bekapcsolásával minőségi változást hozhat a stratégiai tervezés folyamatában.
