Szabadúszók Magyarországon. Egy új kutatási program elméleti háttere és első empirikus eredményei
[Freelancers in Hungary: the theoretical background and initial empirical results of a new research programme]

Abstract

A tanulmány a magyarországi szabadúszókat vizsgáló, feltáró kutatási program első szakaszának eredményeit mutatja be. A téma hiányzó hazai feldolgozottságából eredően az írás első felében részletes hazai és nemzetközi szakirodalmi, valamint jogszabályi áttekintés alapján a különböző önfoglalkoztatási módozatok, azon belül is a szabadúszók jellemzőit definiáljuk. Kutatásunk második felében kvalitatív és kvantitatív módszerekkel vizsgáljuk a magyarországi szabadúszók helyzetét és tevékenységét. A kvalitatív elemzés eredményeit 10 szabadúszóval készült, félig strukturált interjú, míg a kvantitatív szakaszét online kérdőíves megkérdezés 152 egyedi kitöltése adja. Az elemzések alapján a magyarországi szabadúszók a nemzetközi trendeknek megfelelően több nyelvet beszélő, kifejezetten magasan képzett és magukat aktívan fejlesztő szakemberek. Az általuk elvégzett munka minősége a tapasztalataink szerint kifejezetten fontos, ugyanis az új megbízásokat elsősorban a korábbi referenciáik, ismeretségeik, nem pedig a különböző csatornákon feladott hirdetések alapozzák meg. A kapott válaszok alapján a szabadúszói életforma nagyobb fokú szabadságot jelent, ami akár a családi kapcsolatok terén is előnyt jelenthet. A levont következtetések legfőbb korlátját a reprezentativitás hiánya jelenti, amely a kutatás feltáró jellegéből, valamint a teljes sokaság demográfiai jellemzői ismeretének a hiányából következik.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: J24, J28, J44
