Szűkösség és felesleg a történelemben és a tudományban
[Surplus and scarcity in history and science]

Abstract

A tanulmány a neoklasszikus közgazdaságtan alaptézisét, a szűkösségnek a termelésben játszott meghatározó szerepét teszi kritika tárgyává. Ehhez felvázolja a szűkösség és a felesleg mibenlétét, egymással való kapcsolatukat és a társadalom fejlődésében játszott szerepüket. Bemutatja, hogy a kisajátítással a szűkösség új formája jön létre, amelyet a feleslegre irányuló termelés táplál. A feleslegtermelés általános módjára vonatkozóan bevezeti a kezdeti előny és a kumulatív előnyszerzés, valamint az osztályfelesleg fogalmát. Rávilágít, hogy a kapitalizmusban a feleslegtermelés módja megváltozott, mert az előnybirtokosok szubjektív igényei helyett a piac specifikus törvényeinek rendelődik alá. Ennek következtében ma már elegendő osztályfelesleg termelődik ahhoz, hogy a szűkösség egyáltalában felszámolható legyen. Ennek szükségességét mutatja, hogy a feleslegtermelés a vele együtt járó szűkösségtermeléssel minduntalan megakad, és ilyenkor különösen kiélezi a gazdasági-társadalmi problémákat.
