Abstract

Ez az írás a teljesség igénye nélkül igyekszik magyarázatot találni Csaba László megállapítására, amely szerint Magyarországon szinte kötelezővé vált a közgazdaság-tudomány művelésének ellenkultúrája, ami az oktatási teljesítmények gyengeségében is megjelenik (Csaba [2013] 59. o.). Megmutatja, hogy a rendszerváltást követő környezeti változások eredményeként a felsőoktatási intézmények sok szempontból a tervgazdasági rendszer vállalataihoz hasonló helyzetbe kerültek, ezért az utóbbi évtizedekben végbement folyamatok megértését jelentős mértékben megkönnyíti a Kornai János által bevezetett fogalmi apparátus alkalmazása. A szerző a mennyiségi hajszát kikényszerítő teljesítményfinanszírozás ellen érvel.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: A1, A2.
