Növekedés és felzárkózás Magyarországon, 1995-2009
[Growth and convergence in Hungary, 1995-2009]

Abstract

A tanulmány célja az, hogy a magyar makrogazdaság elmúlt 15 évének legfőbb makrofolyamatait értelmezze a neoklasszikus növekedési modell sztochasztikus változata segítségével. A módszertan a Chari-Kehoe-McGrattan [2007] által bevezetett gazdaságiciklus-számbevételi (business cycle accounting) eljárás adaptálása egy növekvő/felzárkózó gazdaságra. A magyar adatok elemzése számos problémát vet fel e modell megközelítése kapcsán, ezért hozzájuk képest más, robusztusabb empirikus megközelítést használunk. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a magyar gazdaságban mind a beruházási, mind a munkapiaci döntéseket erős torzítások érték az elmúlt 15 évben. Míg a munkapiaci torzítás mértéke a mintaidőszak elején és végén volt magas, addig a tőkepiaci torzítás az időszak vége felé vált jelentőssé.
