Calidad del empleo: una propuesta de índice y su medición para el periodo 2005-2013

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es presentar un Indicador de Calidad del Empleo (ICE) que puede me¬dirse para un periodo temporal largo, actualizarse periódicamente y comparar colectivos de traba¬jadores. Este indicador está formado por tres dimensiones y se ha construido y medido a partir de la información individual de la Muestra Continua de Vidas Laborales (MCVL) para el periodo 2005-2013. Las características de esta base de datos han permitido calcular el ICE bruto y neto del “efecto composición” tanto de forma transversal (para los asalariados de cada año del periodo considerado) como longitudinal (para los mismos individuos a lo largo del tiempo). Esto se ha hecho además distinguiendo a los trabajadores según su relación contractual.
