Abstract

Il presente lavoro si pone l?obiettivo di contribuire all?analisi della relazione tra disoccupazione e salute nei giovani adulti. L?analisi empirica si basa su un originale dataset proveniente dall?indagine europea CUPESSE, tenutasi nell?anno 2016, su un campione di oltre 20.000 giovani adulti di et? compresa tra 18 e 35 anni residenti in 11 diversi Paesi. I risultati mostrano la presenza di una stretta associazione tra problemi lavorativi e peggioramento dello stato di salute, permettendo al contempo di distinguere le categorie di soggetti che patiscono maggiormente tale relazione. Particolare attenzione ? posta sul confronto tra la realt? italiana e quella svizzera, e ai diversi approcci messi in atto per affrontare tale problema.
