Performance ambientale nel distretto della concia di arzignano: tra iniziativa imprenditoriale e intervento istituzionale

Abstract

Molto si ? discusso sulla capacit? dei distretti industriali italiani di fornire un vantaggio alle imprese che lo compongono in termini di capacit? innovativa, flessibilit? e produttivit?. Nell?ambito di questo dibattito, il presente lavoro si pone l?obiettivo di discutere se e come tale potenzialit? possa portare non solo benefici economici ma anche vantaggi ambientali. L?agglomerazione in un territorio ristretto di attivit? produttive che insistono sulle stesse ri-sorse pu? portare a un forte degrado ambientale, ma anche a una maggiore pressione dagli stakeholder locali per invertire questa tendenza, portando a situazioni pi? virtuose che in altri territori. In questo scenario ? presentato il contesto di Arzignano come esempio di come le dinamiche distrettuali possano innescare una propensione alla sostenibilit? ambientale. Attra-verso l?analisi dei dati sul livello di inquinamento delle imprese e considerando le attivit? isti-tuzionali condotte da Acque del Chiampo Spa, l?ente gestore dell?impianto collettivo di depu-razione, si descrivono le attivit? di eco-innovazione introdotte e le performance ottenute, dan-do spunti utili per comprendere come i distretti industriali possano diventare attori del cam-biamento verso la sostenibilit? e del contesto istituzionale di supporto in questa transizione.
