Abstract

Examining the nexus of mineral reserves, renewable resources, and sustained economic development within energy systems, this study delves into the intricate dynamics. Investigating the complex interplay among ecological technology, economic growth, and energy utilization, the research scrutinizes their impact on environmental footprints and economic development within ten developing nations with the highest footprints (1991-2020). Emphasizing the pivotal role of natural resources in determining mineral resource accessibility, the paper underscores the nuanced interactions among these variables. To secure both economic development and natural resource sustainability, the study navigates the implications for energy systems, advocating for a comprehensive approach. Results highlight the need for integrated policies to harmonize economic growth with environmental preservation.
