Resilience and the sustainability: Harnessing efficiency in the natural resources markets for recovery

Abstract

The exponential growth of China's industrial sector and subsequent economic advancements in recent decades have resulted in an unparalleled strain on natural resources. This research seeks to examine the significant matter of resilience and sustainability within natural resource markets, with a particular emphasis on the country of China between the years 2005 and 2020. The issue at hand pertains to the ineffective distribution and usage of natural resources, exacerbating environmental deterioration and economic instability. To provide empirical findings, we use a sophisticated econometric model that considers a range of market characteristics and their interaction with regulatory regimes. The findings of our study suggest that implementing adaptive policy measures aimed at promoting sustainable practices may substantially improve market resilience. Our study demonstrates that using efficiency in natural resource markets is associated with enhanced economic recovery and long-term sustainability. This study is a fundamental basis for policymakers, stakeholders, and academics interested in enhancing resource markets to attain economic and environmental goals effectively.
