Impact of energy stability, natural resources, and energy efficiency on ecological sustainability

Abstract

This study uses a statistical dataset from 1995 to 2022 recently industrialized countries to examine how energy stability affects ecological sustainability. In addition to energy stability, the carbon emissions indicator incorporates a variety of critical non-climatic factors, such as the volatility index, economic growth, and management quality. We use panel data approaches that include Dynamic Common Correlated Effects Estimator-Mean Group and Common Correlated Effects Mean-Group estimation. These techniques consider the problems of slope heterogeneity and cross-section dependence. The results show how the decreasing availability of natural resources, the growth of the economy, and technological advancement all contribute to decreasing environmental quality. The environmental policies that developing countries employ have to combine sustainable development with economic development. In addition to promoting the pricing of natural resources, influencing ecological sustainability is crucial. We should discuss energy efficiency and reduce fossil fuel subsidies immediately to improve the environment and our energy condition.
